Jaime: My outfit is little more casual that you would wear on any given day or occasion whether you are going to get coffee or going out to a party. My Joyrich sweatshirt and my T.U.K. boots give my outfit that high fashion look and make the outfit as a whole, cool and stylish. The sweatshirt has that baggy style to it which goes great with my tight pants and boots. My floral T.U.K. boots give that feminine vibe to the outfit but also gives that tough kinda look as well. I love it!
Kaila: These shiny metallic shoes make me feel playful and flirty, I love how the edgy boyish T.U.K. shoes can be paired with a sexy crop top. One of my favorite looks from this season is the crop top paired with high waisted jean, shorts or skirt. Much love to Civil Clothing and T.U.K. shoes!
Katt: I went for an 80’s/hip hop vibe for this look, but I also wanted to keep it current as well:D. If I’m wearing something casual I like to amp it up with something crazy and wild whether it be a jewelry piece or outerwear. It’s always fun to be bold and wear things that most people wouldn’t dare to even look at:) I borrowed my friend’s silk, red 80’s jacket that had the best shoulder pads ever hahaha. I then paired it with high waisted jean shorts, a t-shirt that I got from Angeline’s truck of her pink corvette and black platform sneakers (which by the way is kind of hard to walk in, who would have known!) xoKatt
Jamie: My outfit is more down the dark goth style. My favorite color is black and I love to wear a lot of it. I also love crosses! especially when they are upside down and bleeding! Haha just kidding… but I like wearing crosses. The Hello Drama drip cross was a great match to the cross on my shirt as well as a great match to my shoes since my boot spikes match the color of my drip cross. The leggings I have on are very fashionably edgy and I feel like it gives to the gothic/punk yet stylish look. Since my shirt is long, I wore it as if it was a dress rather than a shirt and I normally wear a pair of black jean shorts or any black short underneath.
Jamie: The outfit I am wearing is fully punk inspired from head to toe. I am a lover of punk fashion. I like to put patches all over my jackets and vests but the vest I am wearing by Kill City comes with all patches already on the vest. It is one of my favorite articles of clothing in my closet at the moment. My crop top tank top has graphics similar to old punk rock band posters and illustrations which I absolutely love. My jean shorts are pretty basic black jean shorts but the ripped up and worn out look adds to that punk rock vibe as well. The shoes complete the outfit by adding the classic spikes as are put normally on vests and jackets.
When most people see me, their first impression about my style is, “Why so much black, and where is all the color?” This is one reason why I absolutely ADORE this outfit, it’s best of both worlds. The faux leather jacket by The Cool Boys Clothing from Sweden is adorned with edgy zipper running along the lining of the jacket and spiked studs, which shines my love for heavy metal. The soft teal Forever 21 dress flows so beautifully in the wind and with subtle movements. I love how it fits and it’s super comfortable and also gives my edgy look a more feminine and softer appeal. The gold mesh sneaker heals are again another example of two great styles in one. They are comfortable like a sneaker, but give a little extra height with the heel. This is definitely an outfit I would wear on the daily.
Style and Fashion are completely different concepts to me…fashion always seems to follow a trend whereas style is making a statement about who you are. Ok, so I started with this statement because I believe when mixing and matching an outfit it’s all about you and what you like. I personally love mixing vintage pieces (something original that nobody else has) with a cheap shirt from a store like Forever 21 and adding your own flavor to it. For this outfit I chose this crazy vintage jumpsuit because it had something interesting and authentic about the textile; something I don’t see anymore. I love the saturation of the orange on the silk fabric, I then picked the faux fur jacket (from Forever 21) because it was such a contrast to the jumpsuit. Today’s style guide, pick two pieces that completely contrast each other, who knows it may work out to be the best outfit you’ve ever created! Tootles! xoxo Katt
My look is dark and edgy but has a feminine and stylish edge to it. It’s a bit sexier than my daily style but I had a lot of fun with it. The contrast bando takes away from the complete punk look and making the outfit stand out even more.
